Variables
Warbling Vireo
Occurred the most disproportionately in hexagons with more than 683
mm of annual precipitation and varied topography and less than 2%
ponderosa pine mixed conifer forest (Northeast Oregon). Where drier
climate (359-683 mm annual precipitation), it was most likely to occur
where May maximum temperature (hex. min.) is 10-17 C and there is
little or no true fir - mountain hemlock montane forest. In the driest
parts of its Oregon range (218-683 mm annual precipitation), it
occurred mostly in hexagons with more than 6 land cover types and/or
in relatively varied terrain. The logistic regression analysis showed
positive or negative weak association with topographic variation, the
extent of public land, April precipitation (hex. avg.), and April
precipitation (hex. max.).
